CBSE Class 10 Passing Criteria and Internal Assessment Guidelines
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a clarification on passing criteria for Class 10 students. The total marks remain split: 80 marks for final theory exams and 20 marks for internal school-based assessments.
To clear the exam, a student must obtain a minimum of 33% overall in the combined score of theory and internals, unlike Class 12 where passing individual segments is mandatory.
